Featured in Chapter 8 of "Fighting Back".

"My previous experience with physios had not been great. Now Caroline was to restore my confidence in the whole profession".

I was delighted to receive a book called “Fighting Back” and find myself attributed in the acknowledgement section from author Elizabeth Reilly.
This book is an interesting read from a patient’s perspective. All pain is real and for many people it can be a debilitating part of daily life. Research now suggests that understanding more about why things hurt can actually help someone understand their nature of pain and go about their daily demands of life, (Moseley and Bulter, 2009).
This book definitely takes you through the highs and the lows of Elizabeth’s journey and coping strategies (which many people with chronic pain will be familiar with!). This is an informative read for both therapist and patient’s alike.
